Museum Scavenger Hunts

The scavenger hunts at the Museum are designed for ages 7 & Under, and ages 8 & Up. Options include picture-based or text-based hunts, depending on the level of difficulty desired. Outside hunts are available during the summer.


Geocaching has now gotten easier thanks to smartphones. All you need to do is download the app, and then you can start the hunt for an almost unlimited number of caches wherever you go. Carstairs and area is home to many different caches, including touchless ones that are Covid-19 safe. One cache might just happen to be a historic building that is part of the Museum.

Follow the clues to the QR code stickers hidden around town. Scan the code for the answer and some fun history of Carstairs.

Bring the finished crossword puzzle to the Museum and spin to win a prize from one of our sponsors.
