To whom it may concern,

My name is Keith Harris and I’m Interested in the 2021 exhibition at the Carstairs Heritage Centre. I am looking to branch out and showcase my art within the different counties of Alberta. I feel that my art will showcase a new and unique style to the exhibition. I look forward to the new experience and opportunity with the Carstairs community.

Thank You

Hello Keith.
I am pleased to hear that you are interested in showcasing your work with the Carstairs Heritage Centre this year. The below information is what is needed for for our committee to consider a submission. If you could create a document that answers all these points, and then send that information to our main email at (as the message system on our website is infrequently monitored) we can proceed from there. I look forward to hearing from you again.
Sincerely, Tamara Moore. Interim Manager/Curator

Call for Submissions
The Carstairs Heritage Centre is accepting submissions from artists and curators. We welcome artworks done in any media from artists with ties to the Carstairs and District area, Mountain View County and/or artwork that directly depicts Carstairs and District. All submissions will be reviewed by our Exhibitions Committee.
Exhibitions will be displayed in the Pointen Art Gallery and/or the Ing Gallery, based on availability. To better understand the space, please visit both galleries prior to submission.
Artists or curators will be expected to attend the opening of their exhibit and will be given the opportunity to give a presentation or demonstration of their work and techniques.
Artwork can be listed for sale; however, the Museum will not handle transactions, but rather connect prospective buyers to the artist.
Work must be available for display for 1-2 months.
Work must arrive complete and ready to install. The Museum will advise and assist with installation.
Please be sure that your submission includes all of the following:
• A brief summary of the exhibit (concept, theme, intent, media, etc.).
